About
Elevations RTC is a youth residential treatment center in Syracuse, Utah, formerly known as Island View Residential Treatment Center. The program operated under the Island View name before a 2014 sale and rename, and later continued as Elevations RTC.
Elevations describes itself as an all-gender residential treatment center for adolescents ages 13-18, with psychiatric treatment, individualized care, clinical groups, accredited academics, experiential education, and therapeutic recreation. Its public materials place the program in Syracuse, Utah, and list licensing or accreditation connections with Utah licensing, The Joint Commission, and Cognia (official site, NATSAP directory).
KUER reported that Island View operated in the same Syracuse facility from 1994 to 2014 before being sold and renamed Elevations RTC. Other program histories place the opening in 1995; in either account, the program began in the mid-1990s and changed names in 2014 (KUER).
Public education-contract records identify the legal operator as Syracuse RTC LLC doing business as Elevations RTC. A 2024-2025 San Diego Unified School District nonpublic master contract lists Syracuse RTC LLC dba Elevations RTC as the contractor, gives the Syracuse address, and identifies Elevations Academy as a nonpublic school for grades 9-12 (San Diego Unified contract). KSL has also described Elevations as part of the Family Help & Wellness network (KSL).
