Intermountain Residential is a residential mental-health program in Helena, Montana, operated by Intermountain. The program has described itself as a nonprofit residential school and treatment service for children and families, with roots in Montana child welfare work dating to the early twentieth century.

The residential program served boys and girls admitted at ages 4 to 13 on a campus in Helena. Intermountain described its residential model as a relationship-based, intermediate residential service combining daily living structure, clinical assessment, individual treatment planning, therapy, medication management, and an accredited on-campus school. Its campus materials described home-like cottages, private bedrooms, all-gender houses, and staffing ratios for waking and sleeping hours.

Intermountain's campus page listed licensure by the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services and accreditation by the Council on Accreditation, Cognia, and the Northwest Accreditation Commission. The National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs directory listed Intermountain as a full program member in the residential treatment center category.

In 2023, Montana Public Radio reported that Intermountain Residential planned to close before parents threatened legal action and the facility attempted to keep a smaller number of beds open. Intermountain later posted a residential leadership notice stating that the residential program was closing and that current children would be transitioned to next placements.
