2021 Sexual-Assault Allegation Reporting

In February 2021, KUER reported that former student Hannah Archuleta alleged she was sexually assaulted by a Turn-About Ranch staff member in 2019 and punished after reporting it. The ranch denied that she was punished for reporting the allegation and said it contacted law enforcement (KUER).

Former Student Lawsuit and Media Coverage

In 2021, Danielle Bregoli, known professionally as Bhad Bhabie, described her stay at Turn-About Ranch as abusive in public statements and supported a lawsuit by another former student. News coverage reported that the program denied abuse allegations and said it was committed to students' safety (People, The Guardian).
