Oneida Baptist Institute

Oneida Baptist Institute is a private Christian K-12 school in Oneida, Kentucky. The school was founded in 1899 and describes itself as providing Christian education to young people from a wide range of backgrounds.

The school's history says classes began on January 1, 1900, with 100 students and four teachers, and that dormitories for boys and girls were in place by 1905. A 2025 Kentucky attorney general release described OBI as a school founded in 1899 to provide Christian education to children in eastern Kentucky and stated that it became affiliated with the Kentucky Baptist Convention in 1946.

Current public descriptions identify Oneida Baptist Institute as a day school for grades K-12 with a boarding option for high-school students.
