2020 Death of Naomi Wood

Naomi Wood, a 17-year-old student at Lakeland Girls Academy, died in May 2020 after weeks of stomach complaints. FOX 13 Tampa Bay reported that Florida child-welfare investigative material described a delay in seeking medical care and that the Polk County Sheriff's Office investigated the death without filing criminal charges (FOX 13 Tampa Bay).

2022 Closure
