2017 sheriff's search

In December 2017, KSHB reported that the Douglas County Sheriff's Office searched Heart of America Teen Challenge near Lawrence and New Life Assembly of God in Baldwin City as part of a child-endangerment investigation. The station reported that the pastor and program director objected to the encounter and that officers later presented a search warrant (KSHB).
