2026 Runaway Reports

In January 2026, People reported that three girls had run away from Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center and that Portsmouth police were searching for them. A follow-up report said one of the girls had been found safe while the search for the others continued; Harbor Point said it had notified law enforcement and guardians and was cooperating with police (People, January 2026, People follow-up).
