Nevada legislative audit materials state that inspectors visited Aurora Center for Healing in May 2024 and found deficiencies involving health, safety, and residents' rights. In May 2025, KRNV reported that the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health suspended the facility's license after continued complaints and violations and that all residents were transferred to new placements.
