2025 Lawsuit

In September 2025, WCNC and WMBF reported that the family of a 15-year-old boy filed a lawsuit in Chesterfield County against AMIkids Sand Hills. The reports said the suit alleged that the facility failed to protect the youth from grooming by a former employee. Local reporting also said the former employee had been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
